Reviews for THE CROWDED HOUSE BAR - PUERTO DEL CARMEN - LANZAROTE.

I always promise myself that I won't visit the same bar over and over again whilst on holiday, and until I visited The Crowded House I managed to keep that promise. However, when I was in Lanzarote recently I found this bar so fantastic that I spent 8 of my 14 nights in there.
Why is it so good? The people who run it are fantastic. Simple as that. Anita is the 'Queen of the Bar' and is always friendly and accomodating. Very good under pressure too! But I guess what most people visit The Crowded House for is the music. Liam stands on the stage every night with his guitars and ridiculous amount of complicated looking equipment and quite simply blows people away. As a guitarist, he is far better than most I have seen and as a singer he is versatile and passionate. It is worth a visit just to hear the song he closes the show with most nights which he masterfully plays on the penny whistle. Haunting, melodic...perfect!
Both Liam and Anita always make time to chat to their customers and make each and every person that walks through their door feel totally at home.
The Crowded House is not only my favourite bar in Lanzarote, it is quite possibly my favourite bar on the planet. If I wasn't so hateful of the heat, I would move to Lanzarote and prop up the bar of The Crowded House every night.
