The welcome and the hospitality to be had at the Highlander is second to none. Mine host Mr. Ronny has the knack of making everyone welcome. We have been made so much at home we're thinking of asking for Bed and Breakfast. Great food, great drink , great company, great prices what more can I say except. Keep up the good work Ronny see you soon.(for the third year in a row)

Need a drink - need a friend - need advice on places to go, people to see, where not to spend your money, where not to eat, what trips are good value, bus services, coach trips, boat trips, ferries, how to beat the local taxi drivers at their own game, 'duty frees', the best 'Fish Rolls' in The Canaries, who's hot and who's not, speak to the man who came over for a holiday in 1982 and never went back - the man who will put you right about everything and everyone in Lanzarote - THEN you have to go to The Highlander and speak with the man, your Host - Ronny Marshall, and yes he will have a drink or several with you!!

Arrived at the bar on our first nite looking for a shop to buy water. didn't leave till bout 5 in the morning(with water supplied by the owner Ronny) Made to feel very welcome and frequently went there through out our holiday. Ronny your a diamond and thanks not only for the drinks but the food was brill. The late nite snacks even better. Ronny does a mean kebab!! The highlander is well worth the visit as the staff are great. It a bit like going to your local as you soon get to know all who frequent! The free pool table certainly kept the kids occupied. Ronny & Sharron genuine people and still keep in contact with us. The Highlander will be my first stop when i return back to the island!

Well not much more to add other than the very warm welcome by the Legend we all call Ronny!! We have spent many a great day/night at The Highlander and loved the "ambience" yeah!! Tucked away underneath Montana Tropical in the Old Town, but certainly worth the trek up the hill!! You will not be disappointed! Plenty of good food and drinks/cocktails/shots and excellent value for yo-yo's!! All sports shown too!... and Ronny we love ya!!!
