THE PURPLE TURTLE BAR - PUERTO DEL CARMEN - LANZAROTE.

We have just returned from a week in Lanzarote and we had a fab time. We ate breakfast & dinner at this bar - the food was delicious (loved the chilli) and the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enought for you. We really enjoyed it there.

Just came back from hols it was Brill was there for two weeks. Everytime was in the Turtle made to feel welcome food & drink was the best. the Quiz on wednesday &saturday nite a right laugh. kids cannot win the quiz but most of them won at the bingo. Staff and owner were the best. There are at the top of the hill my shops & supermarket (maxcoop)

This is like home from home, everytime i go to puerto del carmen i always go here, it may not suit everybodys taste but both myself and my other half enjoyed it... You must stay on for quiz nite and bingo with webby the bloke is a scream.

A good atmosphere with good priced food and drinks. However it is not a particulary good place for children even teenagers. The little entertainment that is on is often for adults only. During a family quiz a group of children were denied a second place prize as the only prize on offer was alcohol. Thus leaving the children unfulfilled and prizeless.

Spent a week recently in puerto del carmen and found the Purple Turtle to be a great place to eat & drink. Particuarly found the young waitress, Sarah to be a little ray of sunshine; always smiling & very friendly. She is a credit to this amicable cafe/bar.
